Prepare Institutional Framework for implementation of Policy and Strategy. 4. Prepare Cabinet Memorandum. 5. Prepare draft legal framework, and 6. To prepare the final Implementation framework.
District Irrigation and Drainage Profiles
The works involved the identification of potential irrigation and drainage sites, performance evaluation, priority ranking, preparation of district profile reports and participation in the district priority ranking workshops.
Demand Study for Smallholder Rice Irrigation Schemes in Districts Bordering Lake Victoria
The demand study was undertaken for five rice growing schemes bordering Lake Victoria region comprised of two fully designed and operational irrigation schemes (Wasare and Maugo) and three rain-fed sites. The study gave a detailed evaluation of the demand for rice cultivation and services.
Scheme Inventory and Priority Ranking for Smallholder Rice Irrigation Schemes in Districts Bordering Lake Victoria

Feasibility study of Lokorkor Irrigation Scheme in Turkana District, which identified about 58ha of land to benefit 440 nomadic farmers.
